Horizon Line Ceramics was born from a desire to embrace a slower pace in life. My handmade ceramic pots reflect a deep affection for the natural world and bring a sense of wellbeing and quiet enjoyment to our inside spaces.
I love plants and indoor gardening, so when I returned to making ceramics in 2013 it seemed only natural that I would make clay homes for the succulents and other plant friends that I surround myself with. My work is inspired by the vivid simplicity of the natural world. What started as a hobby and a way to reconnect with the clay community grew far beyond my expectations and I now makes ceramic pots and hangers for a larger market, under the label Horizon Line Ceramics.
Combining a love of clay and plants l was naturally drawn to creamics and making functional wares. My philosophy centers around being creative with greenery and reconnecting with nature. The minimal use fo glaze is designed to compliment both the natural raw clay body of the pots and the color of the plants that will ultimatly sit with in.
All my pots are handmade, glazed and fired at my studio in Needham, MA.
